Players, Tables & SeatingHow-to
Close a table
Break a table down and scatter its players to keep the game tight.
When the field shrinks, you consolidate — close a table and spread its remaining players across the open seats elsewhere. Poker Hawk plans the break so no table ends up short.
1
Open the table to close
In Tables, open the table and choose Close table.
2
Review the break plan
Poker Hawk assigns each remaining player to an open seat at another table, keeping counts even. Adjust any placement before confirming.
3
Confirm
The table is removed and its players are reseated. Their devices and the seating display update immediately.

Close tables at the right time — usually when you can fill every seat at the remaining tables. Closing too early leaves you rebalancing again a few hands later.
