Set Up a TournamentHow-to
Set the late-registration window
Let stragglers enter after the start — and decide exactly when it closes.
Late registration lets players enter after the first hand. For the trade-offs between gating modes, see Late registration strategies; here’s how to set it.
1
Open registration rules
In setup’s Core Details, find the registration / late-registration settings.
2
Pick how it closes
Choose to close at the end of a level, at the first break, or after a set number of minutes.
3
Confirm the cutoff
The clock shows late reg as open until your cutoff, so players (and you) always know the deadline.
For a casual home game, “close at end of level 4” is a solid default — enough runway for latecomers without dragging out the deep-stack phase.
