Open the audience HUD
Put the clock and seating up on a screen the whole room can see.
You control the tournament from your device; the HUD is a separate screen for the room. If the TV or projector is plugged into the computer running Poker Hawk, the desktop app puts the HUD straight onto it.
From the desktop app

Connect the screen
Plug the TV or projector in with HDMI. On a Mac you can use AirPlay (Control Center → Screen Mirroring → your TV → Use As Separate Display); on Windows, Miracast (Win+K to connect, then Win+P → Extend). A mirrored screen will not appear — set it to Extend.

Open HUD display
In the Tournament Controller, choose Open HUD display — from the operator bar or the Displays tab.

Pick the screen
Choose the screen the room watches. The HUD opens there full screen and appears in your Displays list, where you can rename it or switch it to seating. Press Esc on it to leave full screen. If the screen is unplugged, the HUD comes back to your screen and says so.
From any other screen
Open hud.pokerhawk.io in the browser of the screen itself — a spare laptop, a tablet, or a smart TV from about 2025 on — and enter the tournament’s join code. No account is needed on that screen, and it updates live as you run the clock. An older smart TV’s browser is too old and says so; use the desktop app over HDMI or the TV app instead.
The desktop app does not cast to a Chromecast. On Google TV, install the Poker Hawk TV app; on an older Chromecast, open hud.pokerhawk.io in Chrome and choose Cast.
