How people join your club
Decide what happens when people find your club in search, ask them questions first, and review their requests.
Joining with your invite code never needs approval. Settings › Invite › Join from Search decides what happens when people find your club in search instead:
- •Require Approval — they ask to join and become members once you approve. New clubs start here.
- •No Approval — they join instantly from search.
- •Invite Code Only — your club still shows in search, but joining from there is off; they need your code.
A private club (Settings › Details › Visibility) is hidden from search, so only the code works. Change the join setting while it’s private and you’ll be offered Switch to Public; stay private and your choice still saves. Changing these takes the owner or a role with Club – Full Control, Settings – Full Control or Edit Invite Settings.
Questions and requests
Settings › Invite › Questions for new members holds up to five questions. Each is Short answer, Yes / No or Choose any (you list the options), and Required or Optional; Save questions keeps them. People answer before they can send a request.
When someone asks to join, the Members tab shows a count and Need your review appears at the top of the Feed. Open it and use Details on a name to see what Poker Hawk knows about them and their answers, then Approve or Decline. Approved people join as Members.
