Blind factor and level progression
The multiplier that controls how fast blinds grow. Small tweaks, big impact.
Blind factor is the multiplier Poker Hawk applies between levels when auto-generating a structure. A factor of 1.4 means each level's blinds are 40% higher than the one before.
Typical values
- •1.25–1.35: slow, deep-stack structure. Good for longer multi-hour events.
- •1.4 (default): balanced. Works for most ~3-hour home games.
- •1.5–1.7: fast / turbo. Shorter events or side tournaments.
Past 1.7 the structure becomes a crapshoot — play gets all-in or fold quickly. Fine if that's what you're going for; bad if players expect skill to matter.
