Get to know Poker Hawk
A quick tour of the desktop app — the sidebar, Hawk Academy, Settings, and the basics you’ll use every day.
Welcome — this short guide will walk you through the parts of Poker Hawk you’ll touch most often. Read through the sections at your own pace; everything in this article lives somewhere in the app, so you can come back any time.
Navigating the app
Desktop uses a left sidebar that stays visible across every signed-in screen. The sidebar is your main jumping-off point.
- •Home — your dashboard. Pinned items at the top, your customizable widgets below.
- •Tournament — upcoming events, recent history, presets, and tournament setup if you’re a host.
- •Club — the clubs you belong to, with member rosters, chat, and quick actions.
- •Hawk Academy + Profile — pinned near the bottom of the sidebar for quick access.
The sidebar has collapsible sections for Tournament and Club. Click the section header to expand or collapse it.
Accessing Hawk Academy
Hawk Academy is your in-app help and learning hub — articles, walk-throughs, and answers to common questions. You can reach it any time from the sidebar.

Open Hawk Academy
Click the Hawk Academy entry near the bottom of the left sidebar.

Browse or search
Use the search bar at the top, or pick a category card to browse articles by topic.
Accessing Settings
Settings is where you control notifications, privacy, theme, and account-level options.

Open Profile
Click the Profile entry near the bottom of the left sidebar.

Open Settings
Inside Profile, choose Settings to open the full settings screen with sections grouped by topic.
